This type of Anemia is caused due to lack of iron in the body as the bone marrow requires iron to produce Hemoglobin in the body. Hemoglobin helps red blood cells to carry oxygen to body's tissues.

This Anemia can occur in any pregnant women who don't take iron supplements. The main reason for this Anemia is heavy bleeding during menstruation, ulcer, cancer. Due do inflammation in body which effects the blood lining may also cause blood loss.

4. Aplastic:

This Anemia is one of the rare kind. In this kind of Anemia there is the threat to life. Here the body doesn't produce red blood cells.

Main cause of this Anemia may be due to- infection, medicines, immunity or toxic chemical exposure. It usually occurs due to stem cells damage which is inside your bone marrow.

5. Bone marrow disease associated:

Here the Anemia usually occurs due to lack of production of red blood cells in bone marrow. The disease like leukemia may be the reason for such Anemia.

Anemia here can be mild or severe which can be life threatening.

6. Hemolytic:

In this kind of Anemia red blood cells are destroyed at the faster pace than the bone marrow might replace it. This destruction might be from the Blood diseases.

Hemolytic Anemia can be inherited or occur in later life.

7. Sickle cell:

This type of Anemia is later part of hemolytic Anemia in which the red blood cells are forced to be in sickle like shape by hemoglobin.

Here the Hemoglobin is defective which destroys the red blood cell prematurely. This result in shortage of red blood cells leading to Anemia.
